Leave unsupported questions open
Media coverage is not merged into the official observation lane. If onboarded later, it remains an UNCONFIRMED LEAD until a separate official observation supports it.
- The current stage of any sale process and the identity of a confirmed bidder
- The detailed capital conditions attached to the conditional approval
- Non-public business information contained in the restricted regulatory item
The API is not financial-only; purpose and subject domain travel together
The same read-only envelope also supports industrial supply-chain early-warning semantics. The second slice currently connects a fictional supplier lead-time revision, port delay, and inventory coverage. It is DESIGN_FIXTURE_ONLY and represents neither a real company nor an operational source connection.
- `example-insurance` ↔ `DUE_DILIGENCE_EVALUATION`
- `synthetic-industrial-supply-chain` ↔ `SUPPLY_CHAIN_EARLY_WARNING_EVALUATION`
- A purpose and subject-domain mismatch returns `403 DATA_PURPOSE_NOT_ALLOWED_FOR_SUBJECT`
Public access does not erase source rights or usage conditions
HARBINGER is not a wholesale mirror of source material. It retains bounded observations, digests, time, state, and coordinates that lead back to the origin. Public availability does not transfer copyright, database rights, terms-of-use permissions, or a customer’s lawful basis for processing third-party material.
- Minimize retained excerpts and prefer a link to the original.
- Require customers to establish permission and purpose for third-party material they supply.
- Add correction, withdrawal, or link-change state without erasing the prior observation.
- Evaluate reuse against the source operator’s terms and applicable law.
